You’ve heard it a million times, don’t judge a book by its cover. But which of us can claim that they haven’t done this. I have, I freely admit it. What I really want to know is, does a not so pretty cover mean the book is better? Does a beautiful cover mean I should skip the book? I have my own theories on this, but each month I am going to put them to the test by reading books just based on their covers.
I have chosen 3 books that I have ranked based on the prettiness off their covers alone. I know nothing about the story, I didn’t look at the authors, l mean nothing seriously. I will read these 3 books, and I will again rate them, and we will see.
Look I know this is completely subjective, I am not pretending in anyway that this is scientific because it’s not.
So without further ado, I present to you my choices for March:
For me The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw has the most ascetically pleasing cover, again this is my opinion only. Next, is To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo, and finally Pacifica by Kristen Simmons.
This week I will be posting my reviews for each of these books, so check back in!
Do you agree with my cover ranking? What do you think the outcome will be? Do you have suggestions for a better way to do this?
