The Deal is a cute funny romance. It starts out as an enemies to lovers romance and evolves into a tutor-student thing and finally friends to lovers. While it is cute and funny, it does take on some darker issues like rape.
I enjoyed watching Hannah and Garret fall in love. Two people who were different, each had their own baggage, but still managed to help each other. I liked that they were friends first, we were able to see them really start to like each other. It was funny to see their preconceived notions of each other and how they changed. The dual POV was great and I especially enjoyed reading Garret’s point of view. He was a funny character and I liked him a lot.
There were also some great side characters who show up in later books in this series. I liked them and am excited to read about them in the next books.
