Small-Town Romance

There is something special about a small-town romance. Though I’ve never lived in a small town, I love reading books that take place in them. The fact that everyone seems to know everyone’s business just makes these stories all the more entertaining. There are also usually some great side characters, and quirky town myths or events.

The Simple Wild Series by K.A. Tucker

Another series takes place in Alaska. Makes sense I suppose, as Alaska isn’t exactly well populated. I really enjoyed the way The Simple Wild depicts the town and the residents.

Beach Reads

Beach Read by Emily Henry

Beach Read was one of my favorite reads of 2020. Not only was this a small town read that lead to a lot of secrets and twists the two main characters live next door to each other, so that close proximity really adds to this!
