Synopsis

He calls me perfect.

His flawless pet.

His good girl.

Broken down and wounded by my emotionally neglectful ex, I wanted someone to tell me I was good enough.

Then, I stumbled into a new job with a boss who brings me to my knees—literally. He has me do things a real secretary would never do.

Emerson Grant tells me I’m more than just good enough.

I’m worthy of his praise.

There are a million reasons why I should stay away. The owner of the Salacious Players’ Club is not just my new boss, he’s twice my age.

And my ex-boyfriend’s father.

With him, I am treasured. I am adored. I am his.

I’m a good girl, but I’m falling for the wrong man.

Emerson Grant knows what he wants—

And he wants me.

So how far will I go to hear his approval?

Review

Oh, Daddy! Praise is everything I want in a book—age gap, with a daddy and a praise kink. I must have been a very good girl!

Praise is an ex’s dad romance, which I know is not for everyone, but I love that trope! Not only do you have the forbidden romance aspect from the whole ex’s dad thing, but Charlie works for Emerson, and Emerson owns a sex club (gasp). I have to admit I was sort of hoping the sex club would come into play more than it did. I mean, if you have a sex club…

I liked Emerson and Charlie. They both seemed like intelligent and level-headed people. One thing I didn’t love was the idea that Charlie had changed for Emerson. It was sort of mentioned in the book but didn’t really go anywhere, and I wish that had been expanded on.

Overall this was a good book with some decent steam and a decent story. There were some good plot points added to keep it exciting, and I am so excited to see that this will be a series! I can’t wait for Garrett’s book!
