I loved the new characters that were introduced, Marcella is such a bad-ass. Everyone on this book including Sydney, arguably the most stereotypically “good” character is still pretty morally grey, and it just goes downhill from there, Victor, Eli, Marcella, and June all of them have very questionable morals and I love it!!
That being said as much as I loved the Marcella storyline it felt like a really big plot device. I could have done without as much June and more Victor thank you very much! I do think Vicious was a better overall story! I was also disappointed by the ending of this book. The ending of Vicious was so perfect that this one just fell a little flat.
Did I still love this book? Heck Yes! Do I secretly hope there is a third book? YES!! Did I like think one as much as Vicious? Nope
I liked it but I just wanted a different ending.
