Review: Time Bomb by Joelle Charbonneau

35721258Short synopsis: Bombs are set off in a school with students trapped inside, and one of them is the bomber.

Initial Thoughts: A fast-paced read that tries to do too much.

Characters: 2 – There were way too many characters, and I do get it, more characters mean more suspects but 6 POVs was too much!  They ended up seeming VERY stereotypical.

Plot: 2 –  I had such high hopes!  It sounded wonderful, but it wasn’t.  I particularly did not like the end.  And this whole comparison to the Breakfast Club, not even close!

Originality: 4 – This was original, and I think the one redeeming quality of the book.

Predictability: 2 – The whole thing became fairly obvious very quickly.

Overall: 2

I get that this book was trying to do, and even respect it, but it just didn’t work out.
