Short synopsis: Abby William returns home to the town she has been trying to get from most of her life. As an environmental lawyer she is investigating the town’s biggest company, but the investigation uncovers more than just pollution.
Initial Thoughts: I love Krysten Ritter, so when I found out she wrote a book, I needed to read it. While it was entertaining, it was also extremely predictable.
Characters: 2 – the characters felt like such stereotypes, the mean girl, the popular guy…
Plot: 3 – I felt like I was reading a Lifetime movie. Now for me that isn’t terrible, but it might be for you. All in all it was high drama and full of sterotypes
Originality: 2 – Stereotypes, Lifetime movie… yeah not high on the originality scale
Predictability: 3 – So I knew how the overarching mystery was going to go down very early on. However, there were some side items that while not crucial to the plot did catch me off guard.
Like Lifetime mysteries? This one is for you!
