I purposely posted this Review today, because it’s my birthday, and when you are a blogger, you can post a review of one of your favorite reads on the year on your birthday.
Short synopsis: This picks up almost right after ACOTAR, Feyre is still dealing with ordeal from under the mountain, as more danger lurks for Prythian.
Initial Thoughts: Holy Crap!! I still don’t think I actually comprehend what I just read!
Characters: 5 – Need I say more than Rhysand?!? He was so complex, and Feyre really developed in this book! And Rhysand’s inner circle, can they be my new best friends, please?
Plot: 5 – This went from essentially and re-telling of Beauty and the Beast to full-on political intrigue. The plot was amazing, and though the book was long, it did not feel slow at all.
Originality: 4 – I don’t know what it was, maybe the characters, or the plot, but this book felt different to me.
Predictability: 4 – So there were a few things that were predictable, but the ending! I literally gasped, and then cried! and the whole book was full of twists and turns, that I was surprised by, and I had been spoiled.
Romance: 5 – Rhysand… swoon and a half. This is one of the most adult relationships I’ve had the pleasure to read! I just love everything about it.
Overall: 5
Read this if you haven’t please, so we can talk about!
