OwlCrate is a monthly subscription box.  The box a newly released Young Adult novel and other items fit a theme.  The items can consist of jewelry, bookmarks, stickers, prints, toys, accessories, and are related to book or movie fandoms.   The boxes are shipped around the 15th of the month from Oregon.  The cost of the monthly box is $29.99 plus shipping.  You can also enroll in a subscription plan, which takes a few dollars off the monthly cost.

I received the March box. The book I received was Review: Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston and you can read my review here.   The theme for this month was Sci-Fi and included items from the Lunar Chronicles, Star Wars, and Illuminae Files.

I really enjoyed this box.  The items were all high quality and were all from fandoms that I have a least a little interest in.  The items included were a Lunar Chronicles Mug, a galaxy scarf, pint-size Guardian of the Galaxy Funko, Star Wars bookmark,  Illuminae Files candle, and a galaxy pin.

My favorites were the mug, the bookmark, and the candle.  The other great thing about owl crate is that it sources its items from smaller bookish vendors so not only do you get some amazing items, you get introduced to some amazing bookish vendors!

Even though Sci-Fi is far from my favorite genre, I loved this box and the items it included, the book well…I have high hopes for next month.
