My Favorite Reads of 2020, So Far

We are halfway through 2020 (yay!) and I have actually already surpassed my reading goal of 120 books. So I thought I would do a mid-year wrap up of my favorite reads of 2020 so far. All of these books were published in 2020, though I did read other books I thought I would focus on the ones that came out this year.

Take a Hint, Dani Brown

Take a Hint, Dani Brown might just be my favorite read of 2020 period. It is certainly one of my favorite books of all time. I loved everything about this book and can not recommend it enough.

The Shadows Between Us

The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller

The Shadows Between Us was such a fun and just different read. Talk about morally grey characters! I loved that these characters were not your normal heroes. It made them seem so much more real.

Party of Two

Party of Two

When I started Party of Two I did not expect it to be one of my favorite reads of 2020. But something about the characters really spoke to me! I liked how mature and self-aware they were, something often times missing in rom-coms.

You Deserve Each Other

You Deserve Each Other

If Party of Two was wonderful because of the maturity, You Deserve Each Other was great because of the immaturity. These two characters essentially pranking each other made me literally laugh out loud! Until Take a Hint, Dani Brown I thought this would be my favorite read od 2020.

House of Earth and Blood

Crescent City House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas

Unlike the majority, I am very mixed on Sarah J. Maas. I loved ACOTAR, but strongly disliked Throne of Glass. So I went into House of Earth and Blood very wary. Well, I had no need to be wary, while it starts off slow once it picks up it is a great 2020 read.
