The Stopover is the second book I’ve read by TL Swan, and boy oh boy does she know how to write an alpha male. I really enjoyed Emily’s feistiness, she stood her ground and was able to put Jameson in his place. I found Jameson both alluring and maddening, similar to how Emily felt about him I’m sure.
In the end, the two likely would have benefited greatly from sitting down and talking to down another. Their relationship ups and downs were a lot, and I probably would have given up long before they did. But when it was finally all flushed out it made a certain sort of sense. The story itself was good and I did enjoy the added mystery, it made for a great subplot to the story.
Overall this book was an enjoyable read, with a wonderfully written alpha male and a good amount of steamy scenes.
