To celebrate her college graduation Mia and her friends go to Vegas. She doesn’t expect to meet Ansel or marry him, and she certainly doesn’t expect to fly to Paris with him.
Do you ever just read a book that makes you happy? This doesn’t happen to me too often and it is almost always with romance books. Sweet Filthy Boy was one of those books. And to top it off it had probably my least favorite trope ever (insta-love) and I still loved it. I really shouldn’t be that surprised though since it’s by Christina Lauren.
This book is fairly simple, there is a little drama, but not too much. It is more about two people learning to love each other. As well as Mia, finding herself. I think that is what I loved most, that these two people made each other better, and made them realize what they really wanted.
On another note, let me tell you Sweet Filthy Boy is right, it is sweet and very filthy. If you’ve read recent Christina Lauren books, this one will probably shock you. Their more recent books are not this steamy. I for one was a fan of the steam, but I know it’s not for everyone. (Side note: if you like steam I recommend Beautiful Bastard by them). Even with the steam, it is still at its heart a Christina Lauren book, so you will be smiling as you read this one.
I really loved this book and I am so happy it’s series. I will definitely be reading the rest of them especially since I believe one of the audiobooks is narrated by Shane East (sigh).
