I read this book years ago, and then a couple years ago, so I think I’m due for a re-read. The fact that I’ve read this twice and want to read it again should tell you how much I enjoyed it. Lisa Kleypas is one of my all-time favorite historical romance writers. He characters are always stubborn and smart, two traits I love.
While I love Amanda, Jack is well, he’s pretty amazing. He’s still one of my favorite male leads, smart, sexy and has a healthy respect for women. This is a great story with lots of heart and passion. If you enjoy historical romance and haven’t read it yet, give it a read!
