Review

Darling Rose Gold is nothing like I expected, but I could not put it down!  It was told in two POVs and in two different times. Rose Gold narrates the story beginning when her mother went to prison until the present and Patty, Rose’s mom, begins her narration as she is released from prison.

This book is certainly a ripped from the headlines story, but it is so much more.  As the story progresses and you learn more about Rose Gold the story morphs into something completely different.  This is a hard review to write, mostly because I don’t want to spoil anything. This book is very well written and the story unfolds in such a great way.  This is not a book that you are going to fall in love with the characters. This is also not a book that is going to make you feel good.

If you enjoy a book with twists and turns and an interesting story, then this is for you!
