A.J. has been in love with Cord since she was five.  When she makes Cord an offer he can’t seem to refuse, will it lead to more than just a little fun?

I am just going to say it.  I didn’t like this book much.  It might have been my fault for not starting at the beginning of the series.  But there were a ton of characters and their names we all similar, and I was getting more than just Cord and AJ’s story.

This book had a decent steam factor I will say that, but the story was didn’t really hold my interest.  The book was supposed to focus on Cord and AJ which it did for the most part, but other characters and storylines were brought in.  There was one that was essentially pointless. In a way, I felt like I was reading a script for a TV show more than an actual book.

Cord and AJ’s story wasn’t anything new, and that’s okay.  When I read romance I am not expecting to get some super unique story, but I felt like they should have done a better job of exploring their history.  I really didn’t care much about these characters. I liked AJ, but I didn’t feel like I knew cord all that well. If you are just looking for steam then you can check this one out.
