Synopsis

Lord, help me…

A beautiful, young American girl wound up stranded far from home on my doorstep.
When she begged me to stay, I did what a good priest would do, and I said yes.
But a good priest wouldn’t spend his days thinking about the fullness of her ruby red lips or feel the sting of envy with the way she draws men to her like flies to honey.

A good priest would have stopped things before that first touch. And he certainly wouldn’t have given into temptation so easily, but Cadence Thorn walked in and brought me to my knees.

A good priest doesn’t break his vows.
But I am not a good priest.

Review

Beautiful Sinner was a small town, Grumpy Sunshine, age gap rom-com with a very forbidden twist.

I loved this book. It was often reminiscent of a small-town contemporary romance, and I would forget how taboo it was. But then suddenly, I would remember that Callum is a priest, and I loved it even more for that! There was a lot of angst in this book, but there was some great payoff!

Callum is a grump who underestimates Cadence. I adored Cadence showing Callum just what kind of woman she was, and I could completely see why he fell for her. She proved herself to be strong and capable, and even though I love Callum, he was definitely the one who got the better end of the deal in their relationship. This is a Sara Cate book, so we expected the steam. And boy, do we get it. All those secret steamy scenes, oh boy!
