Review

Net Worth might be the darkest Amelia Wilde book I’ve read, and I have read the Beast of Bishop’s Landing.

Mason Hill is an Alphahole to the nth degree. This guy is out for blood, and I am here for it! He makes no apologies for how he treats Charlotte. And poor sweet Charlotte has no idea what she got herself into. She is just trying to protect her family, and little does she know that Mason has far from her best interest ar heat.

Though Mason degrad3es and humiliates Charlotte just about every chance he gets, like Charlotte, I found myself liking Mason more than I wanted. He has a softer side, and it also helps that we get his POV. We know he does respect Charlotte and what she is trying to do for her family, even as he tries to destroy them.

The reasoning behind mason’s behavior is the real mystery in this book, and while we are clued in, I feel there will be more to it. Though I think bits are missing, I was satisfied with what was disclosed. I can’t wait to read the next one and see where this story goes!
