Synopsis

In reality, my knight is scarred and broken, living alone in a castle of bones that overlooks the sea. He isn’t searching for me. He never was.
Lucian Blackthorne is as cursed as I am, and equally shunned by the locals, the fishers of men, who believe him to be the devil in the flesh.

Review
Master of Salt and Bones was a gothic romance that I could not put down.
I really enjoyed this dark and twisty book. Isa and Lucian were tortured goodness. These two were just fantastic together. This is an age gap romance, one of my favorite tropes, and this one was done so well. I loved seeing Lucien fight his attraction for Isa. And when he finally gave in, it was fantastic.
This book reminded me a lot of a Bronte sisters book. So if you like the sort go book, this is for you. There were so many secrets in Master of Salt and Bones. This was a dark book, and there were some seriously disturbing parts to this, book, so make sure you check the trigger warnings before you pick this up.
This book was full of action and so much suspense. It kept me turning the pages. This book had me hooked between the storyline and the romance between Lucien and Isa!
