Synopsis

Aiden
From the second I saw her, I knew she’d be my ruin.
Sitting all alone at the bar, she looked like an angel.
Eurydice in human form; her beauty eclipsed by demons.

Now, I’m one of them.
The ghost she’s tried for years to escape.
Thinking I wouldn’t be able to find her.

But I never stopped trying, and now that I have,
Her past sins should be the least of her worries.

Riley
From the moment he saw me, I knew I’d ruin his life.
Alone at the bar, I dared the monster to come and play.
Orpheus in the flesh, with his sad songs and strange obsessions.

I became one of them.
The siren who calls to the darkest parts of him.
Only, I disappeared before he could act on it.

But now he’s here,
and he wants me to repent for my sins.

Review

I enjoy a stalker romance, and Vipers and Virtuosos is exactly what I love.

I enjoyed the way this was written. Aiden and Riley’s chemistry is clear from the start, and I loved them together. Then part two started. I was shocked, and I have to say I liked where this went. The Aiden we see in the beginning is very different than the one at the end. I have to say crazy stalker Aiden is my favorite! He is ruthless and cruel, and I loved him.

I also loved how Riley handled everything. For all she has been through, she is remarkably resilient. She’s mentally tough, and though there were times I wish she had fought a little more, I did understand why she didn’t. Her softness was a great counterpoint to Aiden’s darkness.

Of course, I loved seeing all the characters I’ve loved from other books, especially Kal!
